With the support of EU grants we implement cultural and wickerwork projects!
In recent years, we have observed an increase in the popularity of knowledge about handicrafts, weaving, and the interest in products made of wicker. In response to the needs of our region, considering the weaving culture and heritage of the Lasowians, we decided to promote the love of wickerwork and knowledge about the Lasowiak culture not only in our region but all over Poland.
With the help of EU funds, we are implementing the design strategy of weaving and the culture of our region!
The beneficiary WickerPL Radomska Joanna implements the project entitled:
Implementation of essential actions recommended in the Design Strategy as an element of strengthening the competitiveness of WickerPL
as part of the Operational Programme for Eastern Poland for the years 2014-2020, Sub-measure 1.4
Project objectives: The primary objective of the project is to implement the design strategy created at stage I as a result of a design audit. In stage II of the Project implementation, it is planned to implement selected elements of the Design Strategy. During stage II of the project, the company will implement the production of items that have not been manufactured by the company to date. Moreover, the products will be characterized by a new unique design, unseen in other competitive products.
Planned project results: The direct effect of the project will be the implementation of the Design Strategy in WickerPL, which will enable the company to offer new products with a unique design on the market. The effect of the project will be the implementation of 3 product innovations by WickerPL: 1) A line of wicker toys and accessories for children. 2) A line of mobile carts on wheels with a wicker basket. 3) Creative workshop service on handicraft weaving of wicker products.
Project value: 4 457 753,00 PLN
European Funds contribution: 2,516,733.00 PLN
Project implemented in the period: 01.04.2021 - 31.08.2022
